Hello Chris, Until recently I had a family bible from about 1790 with two pages of births hand written inside it. One page was for Bulcocks, and the other Inghams. I had to get rid of the bible, but kept two pages from it. The reason I am responding to your message is the Allerton connection, as I live in Brompton, less than two miles from Northallerton, and the Ingham family who owned the bible, if indeed they did, and it was not the Bulcocks, probably lived in the next village about two miles away, which is Deighton, pronounced Dee-ton. There is a list of Inghams births but no parents. There is a William Henry Ingham born April 18th 1843 in the list and I wondered if he could be the one you mention here.
