My great grandfather was Alfred Thomas Ingham and passed away in I think 1967 at 99 years of age. He was a ship builder and most notiably Building Supt on the first successful US Navy Submarine the USS Holland in 1900. He also built the only 7 masted schooner ever constructed the Thomas W Lawson. His eldest son James was also a ship builder and built John Vincent Astor's yacht the Nourmahal. My grandfather was his youngest son Lewis Lothario Ingham. I know very little about the Ingham family prior to my Great grandfather.
