Thomas Baker, Esq., Barrister, of London married Mary Engham of London and their daughter Mary Baker married Robert Brooke, Esq. born 1502 London and died 1655 at Brookeplace, Maryland. In the book entitled "The Descendants of Robert Brooke..." by Lenora Brooke, it states that Mary Engham was of royal descent. Does anyone know how that descent goes?
