Sue, It has been some time since you wrote on this connection. I am decended from Susannah Hayes Ingham, the daughter of Hayes Ingham born 1777. I believe Hayes had married about three times. First to Harriett Rothwell, then to Mary Rothwell (about 1819) and on the 1841 census he was married to Charlotte. No surname given. Hayes parents were Joseph Ingham and Susanna Hayes. I have found they had several children, namely John 1772, Susanna 1775, Hayes 1777, Nancy 1781, Joseph Hayes 1781, William 1783, another Susanna 1784, Susannah( shown as Ingkham) 1787 and Sara 1794. ANY CONNECTIONS?
My Susanna was married to Henry Jones, who died around 1852. They had one son, Thomas. She then married a widower, Richard Shirtcliffe, and they had other children, in Sheffield, Yorkshire.
