I descend from James Ingersoll b.@1818 Miamitown Ohio, son of James Ingersoll b.@1760 N.J I have found most of the Ingersoll siblings from court litigation 1n the 1850's,they are John,Henry,Arthur James jr.William,Daniel,Ann Ingersoll Stowe,Catherine Ingersoll Hancock and a Sorina Bloom,Sorina Bloom was a minor at the time and her relationship unknown, although she lived for a time with John Ingersoll. In the litigation Sarah Ingersoll is named as widow, although 1n the mid 1830's Christiana and James Ingersoll were involved in property litigation along with Andrew and Mary Nugent involving Property of John Hill.I don't have anything regarding Mary Ingersoll m. to a Baxter although I'm sure there were othjer girls in the Ingersoll family looking at the census before 1850.Let me hear from you.
Roy Ingersoll
