To Rick Ingersoll; Laura's ancestry is confirmed by a Broome County deed which names the heirs of David Rockwell, including "Laura Ingerson." See Broome deeds v. 47, p. 246. [FHL Film 573105] David's wife was Lois
Culver, as shown by the will of her father Daniel Culver of Lisle, Broome Co., NY, dated 24 Apr. 1829
(probated 3 March 1834); it refers to daughter Lois Rockwell. [Broome Co. Wills v. D, pp. 121-122, FHL
Film 810456] And David was the son of Abner and Deborah Rockwell,
Also the Death Certificate:Dist. # 355--#3486, Reg. # 2, Lewis H. Ingersoll, Res. 447 Glenwood Ave. Place of Death: Broome County, Town of Dickson Married: Emeline Rosezelle, Birth: Union Center, May 25 1840, Age 83y 7m 30d, Death Jan. 24, 1924 Cause: Teriosclerosis, Father John D. Ingersoll Mother Laura Rockwell, Above true signed Emeline Ingersoll, Stella, NY, Burial: East Maine, Rice Funeral Home, Johnson City, NY.
