Ora,

William R. Ingalls, son Jeremiah Jr., was not included in Burleigh's book. The source for William R. Ingalls is:

Title: History of Steuben county, Indiana, together with sketches of its cities, villages and towns, educational, religious, civil, military, and political history, portraits of prominent persons, and biographies of representative citizens. Also a condesned history of Indiana.
Published: Chicago : Inter-State Publishing Co., 1885.

From the 1885 History of Steuben County, Indiana page 829-830
William R. Ingalls

William R. Ingalls was born in Rochester, Windsor Co., Vt., March 27, 1827. He was about four years of age when his parents, Jeremiah and Lance (Carpenter) Ingalls, moved from Vermont to Cuyahoga County, Ohio, there joining the Shakers, a community of whom was established in that county. (see http://www.rootsweb.com/~insteube/scibp/scbio/ingalls-william1885.txt) Note: Above reference to Lance Carpenter is a typo for Lana
