My information is that Jeremiah and his wife moved from VT to Ohio where they joined a Shaker community with two sons, George and William R. about 1831. Burleigh, however indicates that William was not born at this time.

Does anyone have any definitive information on just when they moved to Ohio. Also what happened to William R. and his mother when they left the Shakers?
