Well, thank you for your helpful information, I am a bit unacknowledged about the old Dutch names. But I think my failure was quite pardonable as I at first perceived Banadji was not a typical Dutch name, but then would rather suit to compare with its Dutch 'counterpartner' : Bagnaij.
For a mere information, My great-grand father's name was Hali Banadji, he was married with (I ardently believe) a same Indisch person, whose name was Rohannah.
The further informations about his wife, well, my great-grand mother, has become more dissolved and unclear, but I am quite fortunate to still possess some photos of her.
