I am just starting on my Simon family gynealogy. My ggrandfather was a Joseph Hendrik Simon, b: 1843 at Semarang, Djawa Tengah. Since I just started, I am not sure if he was married twice to,1.Christina Wilhelmina Goeteras, b; 1845, Semarang and 2.Concorda Theodora Walhaar, b;1846.
Other names are in my family line: Johannes Wilhelmus Simon, b: 1846, cheribon, married to Johanna Helena Wierts. Out of all the above marriages, 1.Joseph Simon b:1869, cheribon and 2. Antoinette Christine Gerhardina Simon: b: 1874 at Cheribon.
I heard one of the Simon's was a merchant marine. I donot have any proof of that.
Let me know if any of these names are familiar to you.
