Hello Brian

Are you unsure of Jame's birthplace or just the spelling of the place? I had a quick look on FIBIS website to establish the name Galway but couldn't find an exact match. If you have a look in their fibiwiki under 'locations' you may see something you recognise.

Where did you get your info on him? Have you seen his death certificate & if so did that give you any clues?

There are quite a few KENNY on both familysearch.org & FIBIS website but you may have to just work backwards (always better apparently). If the records are not digitised you will have to go to the British Library (APAC) and look for records or if not near to you then look for the Index nos for the records & ask Brit Lib for a photocopy.

To find out about the index nos you could go on the familysearch.org website and look for the microfilm no relevant to the records & dates you want and arrange to view by contacting your nearest FHC (listed on the website).

You may well know all this already. If so I apologise.

Otherwise if I can help further let me know.

Sue
