I am researching the following Surnames from India.
Cartner, Lavender, Gillham, Kohlhoff.
My connection is via Derrick Ivan Austin Cartner born 1929
Madras, india.
His parents were Frederick James Cartner and Alice Lavender. Fred came to Australia in 1947. Alice remained in
India until her death in 1980.
Fred had a sister Dr Dorothy Cartner. I have her photo album with many photo's from India. I am looking to identify the family members in her photo's.
Christian Frederick Theodore Cartner was the father of Fred and Dorothy. Their mother was Ethel Maude Adeline Gillham. Christian was Surgeon in India.
James Cartner and Amelia Caroline Kohlhoff were Christian's
parents.
Amelia's father, Christian Frederick Kohlhoff was a highly regarded magistrate and judge in India.
