UK Incoming Passenger Lists 1878-1960 shows:

W.G. McGinn, merchant , age 41 traveled first class on the ship Actor (steamship line Harrison). His last place of permanent residence was Calcutta, India and he intended to live in England. This ship traveled from Calcutta to Liverpool via London arriving 16 May 1919. His port of embarkation was listed as Calcutta.
