I am looking for information regarding my great great grandmother Jessie Collins. Jessie married Chelsea Pensioner Charles Walbridge in Kaptee India 05/07/1865 (Bengal Marriage Index) They proceeded to have 3 children in India before returning to Dorset. I have virtually no information regarding Jessie (Jessica?). I am led to believe she grew up in an Indian Convent/Orphanage and that her parents were an Indian girl (unknown) and a soldier called Lazarus Collins but I am unable to verify this. If anybody is able to provide me with information on this matter I would be extremely grateful.
