Tracing my roots in India and knowing my caste

Hi my name is Hrishikesh Gumani, from Mauritius. Basically a bunch of Indian people migrated to mauritius majority from Bihar as indentured labourers.
I would like to trace my roots from India and know about my caste. There is still a big division in caste in mauritius.
My father's name is Baboo Avinash Chandra Dutt Gumani and my mum's from india and her name is Gurvinder Kaur Bedi
Should you need further information i can give them out.
I would really appreciate any information or direction how i can find that out.
