Wondering if anyone can help me with this....
My ancestor, Captain Francis Smith Wiggins of 31st Bengal Native Infantry, was suspended by General Court Martial on 18th June 1827 and reinstated Jan. 1828.
I have no other details but would like to find out why he was suspended...does anyone know where there may be records that could help me with this.
