I am trying to trace family in Madras, India who came to Fiji as indentured workers. I the information I have is below:

Great grandfather’s (maternal) name: Vadachalam f/n Varathan ; Caste: Vannia (bannia) ; District: Chinqleput / Chingelput ; Taluq : Conjivaram / Kanjivaram ; Village : Big Do / Biq dv ???? - 25 years in 1914.

Married to : Chinamma f/n Vedachalam - 22 years in 1914. came to Fiji with baby girl – Muniamma – 3 years – (My mum’s mother)Boarded steam ship Chenabi II in Madras on 4/1/1914. Muniamma's parents returned to India in 1929. She stayed back and married Sidappa and my mother was one of her children.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
