Subject: Karl Pearson + Crambe Yorkshire + India I'm interested in the family of Karl Pearson (1857-1936) the famous statistician (see Wikipedia), whose forebears came from Crambe in Yorkshire (also from Danby and Slightholmedale). Esp. intriguing is his uncle Richard Pearson, who died in 1859, aged 20 on the 'Agamemnon' coming back from Calcutta. I'd welcome advice about these people/family. Also, how can i find more about RP and why he was in India? Please email me your reply as that is much easier for me. I'm at qed@enterprise.net Thanks JOHN BIBBY Notify Administrator about this message?
