Name of a village near Trichi in Tamil Nadu

I need help locating the name of a village near Trichi (aka Trichy, Tiruchy, Tiruchirapalli, etc) in Tamil Nadu. The village is something similar to Kurumpirapeli. I can't find it on any map accessed through the internet and I can't google it on various spellings. Can some kind soul please help me identify this village?
