freebmd.rootsweb.com shows the marriage in 1863; also do you know the occupation of Alexander? There's this in 1881, possibly him remarried... Household: Name Relation Marital Status Gender Age Birthplace Occupation Disability Alex YEATTS (Head) M Male 53 Edinburgh Bankhead 2nd Mr East Kent Mil Jane YEATTS (Wife) M Female 42 Hampshire, England Officers Wife Source Information: Institution "The Barracks" Northgate Canterbury Census Place Canterbury St Mary Northgate, Kent, England Family History Library Film 1341228 Public Records Office Reference RG11 Piece / Folio 0960 / 114 Page Number 59 In the 1881 census, the only possible child I can see is C. S. Yeatts, 14, b. Dublin, in a boarding school at Margate St John Baptist, Kent. He's probably Charles Stanley Yeatts, who marries in 1897 in Edmonton. In 1901 he's listed with his wife Leonara and son Alexander. Try the Regimental birth indexes (http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/research/searchingforoverseasrecords/index.asp#0 and online at www.findmypast.com ) to look for the birth of Charles and other children.
