If there are any decedents of a Mary Ann Houlahan (nee Curran) out there I would love to talk to you. I'm trying to determine if Mary Ann Houlahan is the Mary Anne Curran I'm looking for. She was born about b.1820 we think either Australia or India?? Her father was John Bury Curran who was a Sergeant in the NSW Veterans 17th Dragoons Light her mother was Maryanne Hatton .Mary Ann Curran had a child out of wed lock to Ernest Agustus Slade in 1833 at a very young age they never married. I have found a marriage record for a Mary Ann Curran and a James Houlahan for 1861 place Albury.Is this the Mary Anne I'm looking for? Can any one help me sort this out.
