Hi Jeannie,
James Watt and Jean Brand had a daughter named Janet (b. 24 apr 1840) who my grandfather David Watt Page referred to as his favorite Auntie Jen. She married James Inches July 11 1862 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. She was referred to as Jean Inches. I don't know if this is who you are looking for but we've crossed over family lines before with regards to our Jean Brand/James Watt. The family name I am researching is the Page name in Dunfermline but the names Inches, Watt and Brand are often used as middle names. I don't know if this is any help but I hope so.
