G'day Jo, We certainly do have a match, cousin. Richard INCH is my 4th g-grandfather. Thomas INCH is my 4-g uncle. So you see this is my direct line. I look forward to exchanging genealogical information with you. Thanks to Arthur Inch, the "keeper of the Inch records", a fine old English man, I have my INCH line back to John INCHE, in Early 16th Century Cornwall, England. Also have the details of the family in New Zealand along with details of Silas INCH, Thomas's brother, who also went to Canada. I'll be able to put you in contact with a couple of Canadian INCH researchers as well. I just posted an email on the Ontario listing and received some more stuff on the INCH mob in Canada. Richard INCH did marry Joan BEST (2nd marriage, 1st marriage to Sarah HOSKIN). Married Joan on 02 Jan 1773, Blisland, Cornwall, England. Joan was christened 01 Jan 1740, St Teath, Cornwall, England. Louisa INCH m. William James BALDWIN in New Plymouth, New Zealand, on the 20 Jul 1853. Louisa INCH is my g-g grandmother. Her father Paul, was a brother to Thomas & Silas INCH. I look forward to hearing from you. Kindest regards Greg Baldwin Notify Administrator about this message?
