I realize this is an old post. If you are still interested in contacting a Inbody clan that is not the Nicholas Inbody Branch, well, this is one. We are from Adam and Anna Maria Herr Imbody via David 1798 and Daniel 1830. Would be interested in exchanging info. We too have an extended line.My gggrandfathe Sgt Daniel Imbody / Inbody, was killed in 1865 during the Civil War. Yes both spellings are correct for this family, In fact, Johann Adam Imbody is the accepted ancestor surname spelling.
