I am a CARTER researcher trying to fill in some marriage facts. James Albert Carter (b. Feb. 1880 in FL, likely Walton, Co.)married Savannah Inabinett (b.? - d.?)I know of one child, a daughter Alma, b. Aug. 29, 1915 in Florala, AL, and d. Feb. 23, 1983, in Wichita Falls, Wichita Co. TX. Alma married a man whose surname is Ransom (first name unknown.) James also went by the name of Jim. He is not my direct line, but is the brother of my Grandfather, Dock Douglass Carter. Hoping this information may help Inabinett researchers and I also hope to fill in information on Savannah. Willing to share what information I have on James A. Carter's line. Many thanks!
