STEELE Family, 1850's-1891, Whitely Co

I am looking for information on the J.
Madison Steele family. The lived in Larwill,
Whitely County from approximately 1850 until
J. Madison Steele, his wife Elvira Jones Steele and most of their children died in what the family always said was a flu epidemic around 1891. They are buried in the Lakeview Cemetary. Their surviving children were: Anna Steele who married Roy McAfee and later moved to Oklahoma then Kansas, Nell Steele who married Jess Maston in Larwill and later moved to Washinton State, C. D. Steele, aka Bert, who also lived in Washington State but was in Michigan at the time of his death in 1945 and Rose Steele (my grandmother) who was fostered out to her mother's sister, Celia Jones Spaulding, in Ionia County, MI.
Rose later married Arden Nye and had 2 daughters. Arden, Rose, C.D. Steele and another woman were all killed in a car accident in 1945 in Michigan.
Thank you.
