Mr. Williams:

We have corresponded in the past about Joshua Perry of Philadelphia, the husband of Rachel Davis.

Joshua is my GGGG Grandfather.

Did you ever connect him to the Joshua Perry in White County, Indiana?

Also, in some of your postings which mention Joshua Perry of Philadelphia, you write his hame in this manner, <Joshua> Perry. What do the brackets indicate?

Finally, my records indicate that Joshua was born in Delaware. However, I am wondering if instead of the State of Delaware it should be Delaware County in Pennsylvania. From your research have you noted if people meant Delaware County as the location of their birth while others in error wrote down the State of Delaware?

Among my reasons for thinking this way is that Rachel his wife is connected to the Welsh Tract (located partly in Delaware County) along with the mention in early writings from the Tract of a Yeoman by the name of Owen Perry.

Thank you,
Allan Rosenthal
