Isaac was b, in Monongalia Co., VA [1804-1878] he m. Mary Phillips [1807-1881]b. in PA. Both d. in White Co., IN. Isaac was s/o Abel DAvis & Mary Huffman. Abel d, in White Co., IN 1847. Mary d. probably in Champaign Co., OH mid 1820's. Abel d. testate naming Joseph Phillips,his esteemed friend, as executor of his estate. Isaac became his dole heir.
I am trying to determine the parents of Mary Phillips and who Joseph Phillips was.
Mary & Isaac had:
Margaret Phillips, b. 1829
John S. Davis, b 1838, m. Rosella McLaflin, m. Mary C. Stewart
James P. Davis, b. 29 Feb 1837, m. Eliza Engler
William Henry Davis, b. 1841, bur Indian Creek Cem. Pulaski Co., IN
George W. Davis, b 1844, m. Alwilda Imler
Twins: Hesakiah & Heremiah, b. 1846 both killed during the Civil War.
All children b. after John S. DAvis were b in Carroll Co., IN.
