Looking for my OSNER family
Posted by: George Osner (ID *****1606) Date: December 06, 2002 at 22:33:20
  of 271

My 2G grandparents, George and Susan (RICKERT) OSNER were immigrants from Germany who first settled in the Cincinnati area, and then came to White Co., IN in 1878, settling near Reynolds. George d. 1918, Susan d. 1915, both in White Co.

They had 10 children:
Michael, who remained in OH & never lived in White C.
Sabastian, never married
Elizabeth, b. 1856, m. John BORGES & moved to KY
George, b. 1858, m. Margaret BERGIN & moved to KS
John, b. 1861, m. Elizabeth BERGIN (sister of Margaret) & moved to KS
Mary, b. 1863, m. Louis WEISBECKER & moved to OH
Henry, b. 1866, m. Winnie NORDYKE & moved first to MT & then to CA
Anna, b. 1868, never married
Rachel, b. 1870, m. John EISERT, lived in White
Jacob, b. 1872, m. Agnes SALLA, lived in White

I have good information on my line from George through Henry, and am interested to learn more about these White County families.
