Scanning through the pages of the White County Genealogical Society's Cemetery transcriptions reveals the following Davis buried in the Idaville/Magee Cemetery:
Davis, Theodore J (1/20/1829 - 3/19/1912)
Davis, Sarah J, his wife (11/27/1834 - 8/22/1914)
Small broken stone:
Davis -----
b.d. 9/9/1885; 51y 9m 12 d (this stone was missing when cemetery was re-researched in 1995)
Mention of a Margaret Davis, mother and George Pritchett, father, for Isaac Pritchett (4/4/1879 - 7/12/1970)
Davis, Lewis A(1854-1/24/1924)
Davis, Katherine (1861-1903)
That is all I see listed in the Idaville/Magee Cemetery.
There is a private cemetery, Leazenby Cem, that is NE of Idaville, and there are several Davis' listed there:
Davis, Matilda d. 9/19/1855; 11m 6d; father: David Davis, mother: Elizabeth Davis
Davis, Margaretd. 10/6/1857;11m 10d;same parents
Davis, Daniel (1860-1883)
Davis, Dorathy (3/13/1871-6/19/1930)
Davis, Owen C. (1830-1906)
Davis, Elizabeth (1832-1896) w/o Owen C. Davis (they are all buried in a row.
next row:
Davis, Sallyd. 2/2/18866m 21d;father:Davis, I.S.; mother: Davis, E.
Davis, I.S.Civil War Co F 128th Ind Inf (military marker - but does not show any info re. a family marker/stone)
I hope this is helpful. If you could let me know what particular Davis you are looking for and they are not among these listings, I could check the Master Cemetery Index to see if they are buried elsewhere in White County.
