I went to the Wayne County Clerk's office and looked up Lillie's marriage records. When she married Herman Sanders, Book C-2 pg. 503 no parents' names were given.

When she married James Sanders Book C-2 pg. 259 it lists her Christian and surname as Lillian Sanders born 5-24-1869 OH. Present residence Richmond, occupation housekeeping. Father - Adam F. Sanders born OH - laborer - dead. Mother - Mary Arnold - born OH - housekeeping - residing in KY. Not her first marriage - first one dissolved by death 1907.

I find a family tree for Adam Freppon & Mary Arnold on Ancestry - Adam's father is Nicholas and mother Maria. Adam & Mary Arnold Freppon are buried at Saint Francis of Assissi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dayton, KY, on findagrave. Apparently her father's name was not recorded correctly (Sanders/Freppon).

Leah
