Aaron, Thanks again for the great info. Now here is a puzzle. A friend of mine, who also helps out at Locust Grove, found. from the Richmond Indiana Telegram 2-17-1881 "Abington Sam Stevens Jr. followed the remains of his youngest child to the grave in Locust Grove Cemetery last Friday." There is not another Stevens stone, that we can find, in the cemetery. We have some broken pieces, but nothing we can put together at this point. There is no listing in Bevely Yount's transcriptions done in the 1960s. There is a small stone in row 13 that says only CLAUDE across the top. There are also some field stone/river rock markers that I assumed to be much older. Theresa Notify Administrator about this message?
