Wayne County Harpers

I would be very grateful for a lookup in the 1850 census on my ggggf John D. Harper, b. approx. 1802, married Sarah McClain in 1820, and his son George W. Harper, b. 1837. I believe John D. was a constable. His son George left Wayne County some time after 1850 for Crawford County, Illinois, where he became the long-time editor of the Robinson Argus. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Jim Harper
