Thanks Charles. I am getting read to send for her death certificate and the only thing holding me up is having to pay by money order.

I was wondering if Wayne County has mortality records from any of these years, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1890, etc. I was wondering what some of them died from. The earliest one would be about 1850 if the parents died like from an epidemic or accident. That is one way I was hoping to find out why the children are found in different families in 1850 Randolph County, IN census. One living with Clayton (spelled Herison on census) and others living with John Puckett (I did find a marriage between a Rebecca Kennedy and this man). Did not find a marriage of a Kennedy to Clayton Herison. I am thinking though it is another sister of the original Kennedy father.

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.
