Hi, all! Is anyone out there descended from James Garrison RWS from Rowan/Davidson Cos, NC? The section he lived in broke off and became Davidson Co. in 1822. He was born July 13, 1760, and died Feb 3, 1859. He left NC for Indiana in 1827. Children of record in one place has Margaret, Elizabeth, thomas, Absalom, Solomon, George Washington.
I think it's possible that Jesse Garrison who married Mary Bodenhammer might be a son also. I has also been suggested that Edmund Garrison, b. 1785/1790, might be his brother. Edmund is my ggg grandfather and I think maybe he is James' nephew, a son of Paul Garrison Jr.

I think James may be in our line. Sam Garrison told me that "one of the James is yours, too." He lived in the vicinity of my ancestors so I think he may be the James.

Has anyone who believes he is from this James had DNA testing done? And if so I'd love to talk to you and see if there is a match. And if you know you are from James or think you are, I'd love to talk to you even if you haven't had DNA testing! Marti
