Hi,
I'm trying to find information on James Hinds and Cecilia Braugh. They were married on September 14, 1857 in Washington County and are listed in the 1860 census for Pierce Township. James, I believe, was born around 1836 and Cecilia was born in 1836 and died in 1921. She is buried in the Millier Cemetery in Greene County, Indiana.
James and Cecilia had at least 4 children. William (? - 1902), Dorothy (1862-1937), George and Charles. James, I believe, died before 1870.
Cecilia remarried Samuel Collins on February 23, 1871 in Washington County. She had a son named Benjamin Collins. She remarried again after Sam died to a Mr. Johnson on July 22, 1881 in Knox Co., IN
Cecilia's family came from South Carolina and kept moving north until they finally settled in Salem. 1860 census has a Malinda Brugh and William Brugh who I think are probably Cecilia's siblings.
I don't know who James Hinds parents are or who Cecilia Braugh's parents are. I would like to find out.
