Starr DNA Project

Hello,

Announcement link for Starr DNA is at:

http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/message/rw/surnames.starr/1390

The Starr DNA project is just getting some traction. It started out with some families of non-German origin. We have folks willing to participate from these three German lines:

Adam Starr b. circa 1750, d.1823 Guilford Co, NC
Adam Starr born 1777, Culpeper Co, VA and died 1839, Sangamon Co, IL
Casper Starr who resided in Virginia during the Rev War and them emigrated to Rowan Co, NC

We are interested in finding a Starr descendent from Philip Starr who came to Indiana in the early days and left many descendents in Lawrence, Washington and Jackson Counties in South Eastern Indiana.

I am happy to help make a connection to the older generations for a Starr male from these areas interested in participating in the DNA study.

cheers,
Vicki
