Looking for information on John Hughs and Kisiah Dunlap-Hughes who were married in Pike County, Illinois April 15, 1858. I would like to find other family members researching this family and the families listed below.

In 1860, John and Kesiah (Dunlap) Hughes were living in MO, St. Clair Co, Polk Twp. Living next door were her parents, John and Sarah Dunlap (they were also listed in 1850 in Pike Co, IL at which time Kesiah was living with them).

They are listed in the 1880 Logan County Arkansas Census with the following information: John age 54, Kisiah age 42, John M. age 19, James M. age 17, Sarah E. age 14, William H. age 14, Mary L age 9 and Martha F. age 7.

We know that there is another sibling Carrie who married Nelson King. Martha Francis is my g grandmother. She married Samuel Doyle. The family moved to Scott County, Arkansas, then on to LeFlore County, Oklahoma. William Hughes married Nancy Campbell they are buried in Hontubby Cemetery, Oklahoma

John Dunlap and Sarah Applegate were married June 30, 1830 in Scott County, IN

Misc. Notes
1. Samuel Applegate, born Feb. 5, 1783 in what is now Rhea Co., Tenn.; died Sept. 12, 1870 in Pike Co., Ill. He married Sarah Stark, born 1780; died Aug. 22, 1846 in Pike Co., Ill. and they are buried in Hutton Hill Cemetery there.

Samuel enlisted in the War of 1812, serving from Jan. 15, 1814 in Capt. Berry's Co., Tenn. Militia, was discharged on July 15, 1814. They fought the Creek Indians. After the war, he lived in Kingston, Rhone Co.,Tenn. where his brother, Nathaniel, lived, then in Washington Co., Ind.

And finally, Pike Co., Ill. He is probably the Samuel who is listed in the minutes of the Elim (New Providence) Baptist Church of Polk Twp., Washington Co., Ind. from Apr. 1831 to Feb. 1840. He apparently moved at that time to Pike Co., Ill. where he established a Baptist Church in Spring Creek Twp. and was active in that church the rest of his life.
