Dougan Family from Indiana Featured in New Book

The story of the Dougan Clan, from Co.Donegal, Ireland, has just been released. Vanished Glory: A Family in America chronicles the real life story of the Dougan family, from County Donegal. It is based on their true saga and tells the epic tale of Thomas Dougan's journey from English oppression in Ireland, to freedom in America. The Dougans fought in the American Revolution and pioneered through Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana (Clark and Washington Co.) and settled in Northern Missouri. Their descendant, author Connie Lynne Smith, currently resides in Kansas City, Mo. This inspiring saga follows the Dougans from early Colonial America through the World Wars. Any Dougan descendants and anyone interested in Ireland, genealogy and the Irish in Indiana and America, can contact the author and find complete book info at http://www.connielynne.com or check out Vanished Glory: A Family in America on Amazon.com.
