Gough family in Boonville/Evansville 1854 onwards

I look to find out more on three brothers who left Manchester, UK for the coal mines of Boonville (via Kentucky) between 1854 and 1879. The brothers were:

Robert Gough b 1826 Manchester, d Boonville 1899
John Gough b 1827 Manchester d Evansville 1904

Edward Gough b 1851 Manchester. The latter brought his wife, Lucy over but after her death in Boonville returned to the UK with the children born in the US including my ggrandfather, George Valentine Gough born in 1883.

We are very interested to learn more about the US Goughs since until recently their existence was deemed a myth since no contact has been made since the late 1880's. Investigations show that Robert and John had large US families and remained in the area.

Thanks

Robert, England
