Looking for information regarding family of Alfred Moore living in Pigeon Township of Warrick County Indiana on 1850 Census:
Alfred Moore, head, 50yo, TN
Mary, wife, 48yo, TN
Desha, son, 21yo, KY
Martha, daughter, 19yo, KY
Simpson, son, 17yo, IN
Jackson, son, 14yo, IN
I believe Desha Moore is my ggg-grandfather. He shows up married to a Malinda (Bryan??) 29yo on the 1860 census living in Vanderburgh County with children Sarah 7yo, Mary 6yo, Caroline 4yo, and Perott? 2/12mo.
By the 1870 Census Malinda Moore is evidently widowed and only has daughter Elizabeth (Mary Elizabeth, my gg-grandmother?) 16yo, living with her in Pigeon Township Warrick County Indiana. I think Elizabeth must be the Mary E. Moore who married my gg-grandfather John James Evans in Warrick County on on 2/6/1872 in Warrick County.
Jackson Moore married Mary Louise Bryan/Bryant (found both spellings on different documents) and is found on the 1860/70/80 Census living in Pigeon Township.
If anyone has any knowledge of this family would appreciate hearing from them. Thanks in advance!
