A Jacob Spreier immigrated from Germany, settling in Boonville about 1865. Katharena Spreier, a German immigrant, marries John Renkel, a Prussian immigrant, in Boonville about 1870. Jacob and John do become naturalized. Katharena Spreier Renkel never became naturalized. In the 1920 Warrick County census, an aged Eva Spreier is living next door to John Jacob Renkel (Katharena's son). Eva could be the spouse to immigrant Jacob Spreier??? Katharena Spreier Renkel is my husband's ggrandmother so we are seeking more about the immigrant Spreier family...parents, siblings, cousins, etc. Katharena Spreier and husband John Renkel are buried in Maple Grove Cemetery. Where are Jacob Spreier and Eva Spreier? Were Jacob and Katharena siblings?
