Hello,
I was looking at the MALONEY message board and saw your post. I'm doing research for my Aunt-in-Law on the MALONEY family. There is a Patrick MALONEY in my Aunt's family, this is what I have found:
Patrick MALONEY is the son of John MALONEY (born 1775 in Co. Mayo, Ireland) and Anna R. (I don't know what the "R" stands for, but it could be RYAN), born 1779 in BERLNTOVER, Co. Mayo, Ireland.
Patrick was born (about) 1833 in Ireland (possibily Co. Mayo).
There were 6 children in all: Sarah (1827), Anthony (1820), John (1822)born in BALLYHAIN, Co. Mayo, Ireland, Michael (1808), Robert (1824), and Patrick (1833). They are not in birth order.
The family settled in Aurora, Dearborn Co., Indiana and as far as I can tell from the records I have found (online), they all died in Aurora, Dearborn Co., Indiana.
Anna R. MALONEY (the mother), died Dec. 20, 1879.
Sarah, died August 27, 1897
Anthony, died 1860.
John, died Sept. 22, 1875.
Michael, died August 26, 1889.
Robert, died September 28, 1860.
Patrick, died March 3, 1891
Patrick married Mary BLOQUE January 14, 1855 in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn Co., Indiana
Robert married Margaritha (Margaret) SHANEY (or STRANEY), January 11, 1865 in Dearborn Co., Indiana
Anthony married Martha BURNS September 2, 1872 in Lawrenceburg, Dearborn Co., Indiana.
That's all the information I have found so far, although, I did find this other marriage record....but I'm not sure if it is correct:
Ireland marriages:
Groom: John MALLOWNEY
Bride: Ann RYAN
Marriage: May 29, 1800Mallow Parish, Cork, Ireland.
I hope this is the family you are looking for and that this information helps you.
Have a good day,
Marie Moceri
