I'm so happy my column was able to help you. Best of luck in finding out more information. Your topic is certainly challenging.

PS Do you ever use In Vigo County, the Roberts Cemetery in Lost Creek Twp. is a cemetery of free blacks who settled the area, I believe from NC. Their families have been in the county for a long period of time. Maybe some graves posted on that site would be of interest to you. I think most or all of the headstones have been photographed and placed on the site. There was a church in the area also that was part of the Underground Railroad. The church has been torn down, but there is a historic marker out there.
