Looking for information on the family of Silas and Lucy REEVES. Their son, Artemus, was born in Vigo about 1827 and moved to Coles County, IL by 1850, where he appeared in the 1850 census. In 1852 he married Sarah BEEDLE. Artemus was a sutler in the Union Army and died suddenly in his wagon as their unit was going through Alabama. He is buried in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
