Sounds like you were at the Cottage Hill Cemetary. Several years ago a Brazil organization put together a map of the cemetary. After it was complete but before they could have a copy made, they loaned it to the caretaker. He placed it on the wall of his workshop in order to study it. Guess what? Yes that night the place burned down with the one and only map. If this is the cemetary, did you know that Jimmy Hoffa's parents are buried there too. He was born in Brazil, In. In Centerpoint,IN, a smalltown south of Brazil, there is a genealogy center, which has a respectable collection. You might want to contact them concerning your family search. The public library is lacking in family history. I don't know in what area of the country you're located but if I'm giving you info you already have just let me know. Good luck on your search.
