Thank you Beth,
The reason I posted on Vermillion Co.,In was because when I typed in Vermillion Co.,IL I ended up on this forum and since both places are next door to each other why not give it a shot.
The family you show in Vermillion IL in 1850 is my ggg-grandfather's family John Snider/Snyder died 13 Nov 1849 in Danville IL hiswife Mary Alice Blount B:10 APR 1807 and thier children.
Aseneth 17
Charles 7
John B. 11 my gg-grandfather
Margaret 4
Samuel 9
Wesley 2

The second John Snider family appears to have no connection
to my family.

I am unsure about this Civil War Pension eveything matches
except the state.
John Blounton Snider D:6 NOV 1915 buried Danville IL
Rachel Elizabeth Robinson (wife) D: 24 DEC 1920
Wish I could find more.Do you have sugestion on how to do that?
The 1870 Census you show is my family also.
John Blounton Snider 31
Rachel Elizabeth Robinson 34
Samuel D. 8
Esther E. 4
Anna E. 3
John w. 1

Thanks again fo you info. Clyde
