Henry Murray, 61
Retired Farmer Dies Saturday August 15, 1953

Henry Murray, 61. 424 Lincoln Street, Clinton, suffered a heart attack Saturday while riding in a car with his son, James Murray, Clinton, and died upon arrival at his home at 1 p.m. He was rushed to the Vermillion County Hospital but was pronounced dead.

Mr. Murray had been under doctors care for the past six years. He was born April 30, 1892 in Kentucky and had been a Clinton resident for the past 45 years. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors are the one son, James, one daughter, Mrs. Emma Reed, Route one, Clinton; one brother, Charles Murray, Chrisman, Illinois, and four grandchildren.

The body was removed to the Frist Funeral Home where services will be held at 10 a.m, Tuesday with Rev. James Morin officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Henry was the son of William and Rebecca Miller Murray. Henry’s wife’s name was Dilsie.
