Wm Morris - OH-Butler; MI-Cass; IN-Union

I have been working on this part of the Morris family as I think it might fit into my family - however, the fit isn't there yet -- just closer. If anyone else is working on this family, please contact me. This is my information:

In 1830, William M Morris [wife Sidneyann Montgomery] were enumerated in Cass County, MI
Family composition:
1 0 0 0 0 1// 2 0 0 0 1

In 1834, they were on a state census which I've yet to view, then they disappeared. But, today, I found them:

1840 Union County, IN
Family composition:
2 0 1 0 0 1//0 2 1 0 0 1

And, in 1850, p. 339
Wiliam 48 Shoemaker b. Ohio
Elizabeth 42, VA
Martha 22 Michigan
Wilson 16 Shoemaker Michigan
Garland 8 IN
Nancy E 6 IN

I have determined that William married Elizabeth Hacket 2/2/1842; so Sidneyann died between the 1840 Census and February 1842.

In 1860, the family is
William 57 Shoemaker 90 75 born Ohio
Elizabeth 51 VA [cannot read or write]
Martha 27 Michigan [deaf and dumb]
Nancy E 15 IN
John T 9 IN

I have yet to determine who the boy and girl are who were born before 1830; one is Martha. By the way, there are only two William Morris in Michigan in 1830 and the other one never left Michigan.

Now, my questions.
Does anyone have any information on Wilson, the son born in 1834? I have good reason to believe that he might have later been known as William - or called William. Anything on Garland or John T?

William is part of the Morris family from Butler County, Ohio and at least his sister, Rhoda Morris Hinsey and her husband, was also in Cass County, Michigan [they later went to Tazewell County, IL]. I notice that some of William's brothers are also here in Union County.

Any help appreciated!
