Buried in New Hope Cemetery, Harmony Township, Union County, Indiana is a James Davis whose wife is Mary. James died in 1827 and is a Rev. War soldier. He was 66 years old at the time of his death. They had several children which is listed on the INSSAR's Rev. War Patriot index. My e-mail address is : mjkreps@gmail.com Since James Davis's marker has been recently restored there are plans this fall to have a rededication.
